Join space enthusiasts from across the nation at World Famous Dixie Crossroads seafood restaurant in Titusville! Everyone that arrives between 4:30-5pm will be seated in a special room to facilitate socializing and networking.
About the “Tweetup”:
For the first time ever, NASA invited their Twitter followers to view a space shuttle launch in person here in Florida! These individuals are from across the nation and follow the space program using the social media tool Twitter. Selection was made on a “first come, first served” basis using an online request form.
NASA is hosting this unique Tweetup on Nov. 15 and 16 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The two-day event will provide NASA Twitter followers with the opportunity to take a tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, view the space shuttle launch and speak with shuttle technicians, engineers, astronauts and managers.
The Tweetup will include a “meet and greet” session to allow participants to mingle with fellow Tweeps and the staff behind the tweets on @NASA.
