The Orlando Science Center will celebrate National Astronomy Day with activities on Saturday, April 24, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. This fun all-day event allows guest to take a view into space and ask the questions they’ve always wanted to know about the stars, planets, and universe to actual professional astronomers. Guests will get an opportunity to participate in our live planetarium show, which offers a one-of-a-kind view of the Orlando sky.
When: Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Orlando By Night live planetarium shows 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Solar Viewing with Telescopes from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting)
- Night Sky Telescope Observing from Dusk until 9:00 p.m. (weather permitting)
Where: Orlando Science Center, 777 E. Princeton Street, Orlando, FL
Cost: This event is included with admission to the Orlando Science Center ($17 for adults, $12 for kids – ages 3-11).
Admission also includes access to all four floors of hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations and giant screen films.
Special Price After 5:00 p.m.: Admission will be $12, but provide access to Cinedome and Observatory only.
