NSSFL introduces Space Locals: Dr. Philip Metzger – Using Robotics and Space Resources

How to bootstrap space industry economically using robotics and space resources

Hello NSS Florida,
It is my pleasure to announce an exciting new venture for our NSS Chapter: Space Locals. This monthly series will feature space professionals who work locally for the benefit of space science or the space industry in our area. Unlike a traditional lecture series, these talks will be part lecture and part group discussion. All attendees are welcome and encouraged to participate regardless of one’s training or background. This will be an opportunity for anyone in our community to learn about and express opinions on the topic of the month.

I invite you to join our inaugural talk!

Dr. Philip Metzger, 2011 KSC Scientist of the Year
Lead research physicist and founder of the Granular Mechanics and Regolith Operations Lab at Kennedy Space Center
Saturday, February 4, 2:00 PM
Cypriana Restaurant in east Orlando, 12309 East Colonial Drive
Topic: How to bootstrap space industry economically using robotics and space resources
No cost to attend. Open to the public. Light food will be provided.

Thank you, and I hope to see you there!

I understand that this venue was not conducive to recording, but is there any way to post the speakers notes, or notes somebody else took of the speakers presentation?
